Go Coyotes

We had a BLAST last night. Chad got FREE tickets to the Coyotes game, we had awesome seats and they KICKED the Stars butts, winning 5-2. It was the most exciting game I have ever been to. Surprisingly there was no fighting and I enjoyed it anyway. The Coyotes played some AWESOME hockey and brought their A-game for sure. There was this kid (well like 16 yrs old) sitting behind us that kept yelling and the word "suck" was like the only word in his vocabulary. "Turco, you SUCK, 36 you SUCK" That is the only thing he kept yelling all game long. It was really annoying, the lady next to me and I were just about to go up there to teach him some new words. We were on the kiss-cam and had to smooch in front of the WHOLE arena, pretty cute right? Anyway before the game we had to get some dinner and Chad opted for Filibertos, yummy!!! Logan took some pics of me, Chad and himself. Enjoy

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. First off Jackie, Jamie, Me and the boys went to do a little shopping (that is ALWAYS a good time) then we went to my sister, Jill's house for eating (that always a good time too) Jill put a special Christmas ornament on all of our place settings, Logan got a sucker ornament, Kaiden got a baseball playing snowman (they were all personal to each of us) It was so sweet. We played this ball toss game afterward. Then it was off to Chad's parents house and we went to see The Christmas Carol. Um, that movie is a little (well a lot) scary for a two year old. Anyway then we went back to the parents house and had pie and played some tennis at a nearby tennis court. Great Thanksgiving...so much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I hope everyone has something to be thankful for this time of year. I know there are so many things that I am thankful for, here are a few:

My wonderful husband, Chad, thank you for doing everything you can to keep Logan and I happy and taken care of, you are my rock.

My amazing son, Logan you are seriously the greatest kid ever, you are always learning new things and you always make me laugh. I am so lucky to be your mommy.

My great family, I have awesome sisters who are always looking out for me. Chad's family is amazing, they are such positive influences on us. My dad is always there for me when I need him. My nephews are just too sweet, I love my family so much. They are incredible.

My job, keeping the bills paid

Our home, we always have a warm place to go

Our vehicles, they run great and get us from point A to point B

And none of these things would even be in my life if it wasn't for God watching out for me and making sure I am safe and happy. Thank you for everything you have blessed me with and for taking care of me.

November update

Logan goes pee pee in the potty religiously for me. He goes into his bathroom and takes off his own pants and diaper. He sits on his whinnie the pooh potty and goes all by himself. He then takes the little bucket out of the potty and pours the pee into the "big" toilet. He yells, "mommy mommy, come look at my pee pee" once I give him claps and praises he will then flush the toilet. He is growing up so fast.

Logan loves to sing. He knows pretty much every song on the radio and actually sings the words to them. Like, Miley Cyrus' Party in the U.S.A, Taylor Swift,"I know you want me, you know I want cha" and "What cha say". He played Rockband with us last night and rocked the vocals and the drums.

Logan calls people "norks" instead of dork. "mommy you're such a nork"

He is extremely good about cleaning up, he never fusses about it. I think he actually likes putting things back where they go.

When I had my incident at work and got the concussion, we were laying in bed cause I had a horrible headache and he says "mommy, you got headache? Come lay me." So he pulled me over to lay on his chest and he put his arm around my head. It was so sweet.

He loves apple juice

These pics are not very good cause I took them with my phone, but I don't ALWAYS have my camera when I need it.

Logan's new BFF is his monster truck. he has had it forever, but just started LOVING it. He has to take it everywhere we go. Last week he wanted to take it into Kohl's, but I told him he couldn't (I didn't want anyone to think we stole it as we walked out with it) and he threw the BIGGEST fit and cried and cried. Here he is playing with it at the park.

Logan loves to snuggle with Ashley's bear at Chad's parents house. He is so cute.

He has his very own drive in movie at our house. He is a hard core movie lover. He knows how to turn the dvd player on, put his movie in and start it and he always knows which movies go in which cases.

He put on these glasses at Claire's. Kids are so dang cute with glasses

My run-in.... with the floor

So when I was working on Sunday I went into a patients room to get them registered. I slammed my two middle fingers in the door and it hurt so bad. I have slammed my fingers in the sliding doors before, but this time it kind of took my breath away. I started asking the pt some questions, like address, phone number stuff and I got really lightheaded. Then......I woke up on the floor. I have been told that I probably "vegaled out" I guess that means that I did something (slammed my fingers in the door) to trigger my vegas nerve and I passed out, they said my eyes were open the whole time I was down, but I didn't see anything, it was crazy. I know..how embarassing, I face planted right in front of patients. Anyway, I got a pretty good goose egg above my left eyebrow and got a concussion. I had to be out of work for a few days. I am so lucky that I didn't bust my head open. Anyway they had to give me iv fluids(cause my blood pressure would drop if I stood up) and do a cat scan of my head, xray my fingers and give me some good pain meds. Come Monday, I was still in so much pain, my head hurt so bad so I went to my primary dr and they gave me a shot of Torodal. (AMAZING) It helped SO MUCH. So now all is well, just a little tired, but what mom isn't, right? That's my story.

Playing Dress up

Halloween was a lot of fun. First Logan and I went with Jamie and Jamison to Serranos for lunch, Tasty!!!! Then we went to my sister, Jill's to make Popcorn balls. Also, Tasty!!!! Then we went to my in-laws house to trunk or treat. That was a lot of fun. Logan got to play games, win candy and run around. They had a chili cook off thing that (I think) Chad's mom totally won. Logan was a pirate, Chad was a hockey player and my last minute costume turned into a High school Cheerleader on game day, just jeans and ribbons in my hair. Fun fun. Chad's brother Nate's costume was quite a hit, you will see why when you see the pic below.

This would be funny Nate
