Zoo Trip

My Best Friend, Shannon and I took the kids to the zoo on Wednesday and Oh my heck was it HOT out(notice all the red faces). We had a lot of fun though. Logan is finally at the age where he pays attention to what I point out and he liked the animals. I think his favorite was the zebras (probably cause they came right up to us) he kept waving and saying "hi" to them, it was so cute. Rylee fed the donkey and thought that was so cool. Logan is getting so big, he sat on the wooden horsie thing all by himself. He also walked all over the petting zoo to get the goats.

The Beginning of Something Beautiful

So, I decided to go back to jazzercise and today I feel amazing. I just need to keep motivated and go. I plan on going 4 times a week and hopefully I will start seeing results. I don't want to feel tired all the time like I do and I think working out will give me the boost of energy I need to raise a 1 yr old.

Logan's first Tux

So, we had a wedding to go to and we thought...what a great opportunity to get Logan into his first little tuxedo (which we actually bought the day before he was born on our LONG walk to induce labor, it worked by the way)So here it is..it is an all black tux and is super cute on him. He is such a handsome boy. You can't really tell in the pics, but Chad cut Logan's hair into a little tiny mohawk its very stylin. ( I believe every boy has to go through the mohawk stage, hopefully this is Logan's )

What was I thinking?

Ok so I am determined to lose weight and get "HOT." But what was I thinking? So yesterday I went back to jazzercise, I haven't been for years and I haven't worked out hardcore in like three years. BIG MISTAKE to start out with the hour long, non stop, butt kicking workout. I was so sick yesterday afterwards, I mean head pounding, throwing up all over the place kind of sick. I was also probably a little dehydrated cause I didn't drink a whole lot the day before. Well anyways I want working out to be my new addiction so I can get into shape, but if this is gonna be the price I pay everytime.....FORGET THAT. I'll keep you posted about my progress, IF I EVER GO BACK.

So we went to dinner with my sister and my parents and it was a lot of fun. Jamie made these "glasses" with wiki sticks and they were so funny, everyone had to wear them. Anyhoo just some more fun goofy pics

Playdate with Cassandra and the kids

Playdates are so fun - Keeps the kids busy for a few hours and lets the mommies breathe for a minute. This is my friend Cassandra, she used to work with me at the hospital, but has since moved on to bigger and better things. I rarely get to see her anymore, but we email every friday while at work. It's nice to able to catch up with good friends. Jamie also came. She pretty much does everything with me. It's a lot of fun to have my sister and nephew live with us. There is never a dull moment.

Kaiden FINALLY got to play baseball on the "Big Boy" field. He had so much fun probably because he is so good at it.

Sleeping prince

Logan is the cutest sleeper ever. He uses his stuffed animal as a pillow. Notice how he is curled up in the corner of the crib even though he has all the room he needs to sprawl out. I guess he likes to feel crammed and snuggled. He is so sweet. He can't ever sleep without his blanket and his binkie. I love how just those simple things make him feel so safe.
