Valentine's Day

My husband is amazing and I just wanted to post a little thank you to him for a WONDERFUL Valentine's day. I woke up to a hallway full of rose petals and poems leading me to the kitchen where I had red and white roses waiting for me, along with my amazing gifts. Chad made me breakfast and we just had a fantastic day,(besides our little guy being sick.) So thank you honey. I love you.

You have GOT to be kidding me.

Ok so you know how I had the post about Logan's rash? Well the rash still has not gone away and within the last week he has gotten a fever, he has not been eating, drinking or sleeping. He screams ALL day and night. So I decided to take him in to Urgent care on Friday night and they look at his ears and throat and pretty much tell me he is fine. Sending him home with a temp of a 102 and all the same symptoms, I was very uneasy about what was wrong with him. Logan is not a screamer or a fusser. So come Saturday, he starts to get really swollen cheeks and Sunday, wierd black dots on his swollen tongue. I took him to his pediatrician on Monday and my baby has strep. This is very uncommon for kids under 2 and I felt so bad b/c strep SUCKS. I had it one Christmas and I was in Hell. It was the worst feeling. So I am LIVID and the urgent care who didn't even do the quick throat swab that could have had him feeling better 3 days prior. Anyways he is on the road to recovery, slowly, but surely.

NBA All Star 2009

On Friday the 13th Chad is holding an event at his store from 10a.m - 7p.m for the NBA All Star. He is going to be doing Free throw contests, cake walks and NBA trivia contests. His store will be giving away a lot of free stuff. NBA legend Rick Barry will be at his store signing autographs and they will be giving away tickets to the NBA All Star game, NBA Jam Session and NBA All Star Saturday Night. So if your kids like basketball or if you wanna get the kids out of the house for a while bring them down to Albertson's on Indian Bend and Hayden for some fun. Spread the word.

Update

-Logan got a mysterious rash that I finally figured out was due to the slide at the park b/c it was only on the front right side of his body (he slides on his tummy) and it got worse every day that we would go to the park(man I should be a Dr. right? I know obvious signs.)

-Chad and I rented the movie fireproof and it was a really great movie, don't ever take your spouse for granted is basically the message behind it. Chad really took it to heart and he has been going the extra mile every day to show me how much he loves me. What a great man. I just love him.

-Taxes suck, we owe.

-I gave up fried food (except for tortilla chips, can't live w/out them)

-Tried to get rid of the binkie, but Logan is getting his back teeth and it's either the binkie or small bouncy balls that he chews on....not a hard choice.

-Logan has learned to say peek a boo, peepee, poopoo and papa (all kinda the same.) He has now learned meow instead of mooo for every animal. For ruff ruff he will say puppy, I guess he is headed in the right direction.

-He knows all his facial features and pretty much how to say them.

-Every answer to every question is "NO" even if he means yes. That's kinda funny.
