Sugar Cookies

So we decided to make Christmas sugar cookies the other night and OMG it is not as easy as it sounds, to make it short and sweet we went through 2 of the packages of sugar cookies with not a single cookie made because the dough just kept sticking to everything so we kept adding flour and then it just kept flaking apart. We ended up just having Chad's mom make the dough for us and then we baked it and decorated them. Here are some pics of our journey.

These are just some new pictures of Logan and Kaiden (best friends) playing together.

GRADUATION

So last week Jill and my mother in law graduated ASU. Yay. They both graduated the same day at pretty much the same time so I went to Jill's graduation and Chad went to his mom's. After Jill's graduation we threw her a surprise party and it actually turned out to be a surprise. It is kind of crazy cause I can't keep ANYTHING a secret....EVER. Anyway it was really funny cause when we all jumped out to say "SURPRISE" Kaiden jumped out and yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" it was hysterical. It was so stressful trying to get everything perfect for this party but it turned out great. So anyhoo. the next night we had plans to take Chad's parents out for dinner to celebrate her accomplishments and give her a gift, but when the waiter came with the bill Chad's dad wouldn't let us pay.....um hello dinner was our idea. I was so upset I started crying. They just didn't understand that they do anything they can for us when we need their help and when it comes time to give back and treat them they wont even let us it made me so upset. They said that the gift was enough. Well I would not have gone to dinner if I knew they were going to pay. Anyway, on a happy note, they are graduated and both have great job offers so I am very happy for both of them. Congrats.

Gingerbread Houses/Trains

So, my friend Shannon and I decided to put together gingerbread houses and it was a lot of fun. I have never really done one before and I didn't realize how time consuming it was. We (well actually she) took like 6 hrs perfecting hers and it looked amazing. I did the bare minimum on mine. Christmas time is so much fun, there are so many things to do, I love this time of year.
The LONG drawn out process.

Shannon's PERFECT house. Isn't it beautiful?
